KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations have confirmed that Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will not arrive on June 4, 2026, as initially planned. The film's release has been rescheduled, with a revised global theatrical date to be announced at a later time.

The decision reflects the production's revised strategy following Toxic's presentation at CinemaCon, where the film received strong backing from international distributors and industry stakeholders. The positive reception has prompted the team to expand their vision for the film's worldwide reach, leading them to reconsider their original release timeline.

Since the film is already completed, the producers are now concentrating on securing international distribution agreements and forging strategic partnerships across markets. The project, written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas with Mohandas directing, is being positioned as a significant cinematic undertaking.

Yash shared his perspective on the global expansion strategy: "There are films we make, and then there are films that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. Toxic has been one such journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and witnessing the overwhelming global response reaffirmed what we have always believed—that this film deserves to reach its fullest potential worldwide."

He elaborated on the timing of the postponement, explaining that the team is working to coordinate distribution across territories. "Toxic is complete, and we are currently aligning global distribution and partnerships. In light of this, we have decided to recalibrate our release timeline. While we will not be releasing on June 4 as announced earlier, we will be releasing at a later, globally aligned date."

The actor also reflected on the significance of this moment for Indian cinema on the world stage: "At a time when Indian cinema is finding its voice and stepping onto the global stage with such promise, each of us has a responsibility to raise the bar. As an actor and producer, I see this moment as an opportunity to do my part—for the Indian film industry and for all of us—by taking the time to ensure our film reaches the world with the impact it is meant to have."

The ensemble cast includes Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria. The production was shot in both Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned for Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, broadening its appeal across Indian and international markets.

With its expanded distribution framework now in motion, Toxic is preparing for a coordinated global theatrical launch, with the specific date to be communicated in the coming weeks.
