Hyderabad will host a three-day handloom exhibition showcasing the rich textile heritage and traditional craftsmanship of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. The event, scheduled for June 5 to June 7 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, aims to bridge the gap between urban consumers and rural artisans and weavers from the district.

The exhibition will feature over 100 stalls displaying handloom fabrics, sarees, garments, handicrafts, and regional food products. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase items directly from the weavers and craft makers themselves.

A highlight of the event will be live demonstrations showcasing traditional weaving techniques and the intricate tie-and-dye process, offering attendees a deeper understanding of the craftsmanship involved in these products.

Beyond retail, organisers have positioned the exhibition as a cultural platform celebrating the district's traditions and artisanal expertise. The event will also serve as an introduction to tourism opportunities in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, with officials planning to promote experiential travel routes and weekend getaways in the region.

Visitors will learn about key destinations such as Pochampally, situated approximately two hours from Hyderabad. The exhibition will remain accessible throughout the three-day duration of the programme.
