Telangana Ministers Inaugurate Indiramma Housing Units in Mancherial District

Labour, Employment, Mines and Geology Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy and Peddapalli MP G. Vamsi Krishna jointly inaugurated a batch of newly constructed Indiramma houses in Rajaram and Kothapalli villages within Kotapalli mandal, Mancherial district, on Monday.
The two officials toured the residential units and met with the families who will be moving into the homes, which have been constructed as part of the Telangana government's principal housing initiative targeting economically disadvantaged households.
During his remarks at the event, Minister Venkatswamy underscored the Congress administration's commitment to ensuring that every poor household gains access to homeownership through this programme. He stressed that the government is moving beyond rhetoric to deliver concrete housing solutions to qualified applicants. The Indiramma scheme, he noted, offers beneficiaries more than shelter—it provides them with stability, dignity, and a sense of security. Venkatswamy expressed optimism that the newly completed homes in both villages would significantly enhance living standards for residents and reiterated the government's pledge to extend homeownership opportunities to all eligible families.
MP Vamsi Krishna highlighted the state government's emphasis on prioritizing welfare and housing initiatives. He pointed out that the Indiramma scheme has already extended safe, secure housing to thousands of families across the state. According to Vamsi Krishna, such housing programmes are instrumental in fostering social progress and elevating the overall quality of life for residents.
