Hyderabad — Following the announcement of results across five state elections on Monday, Telangana's IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu has interpreted the UDF's triumph in Kerala as a powerful endorsement of democratic ideals and constitutional governance.

Speaking on the electoral outcomes, Sridhar Babu underscored that the Congress party has demonstrated unwavering commitment to constitutional principles across both its periods in government and in opposition. The Kerala result, he suggested, reinforces this longstanding dedication to democratic values.

The decisive mandate secured in Kerala, according to the minister, reflects the electorate's profound faith in democratic practices. He characterised the outcome as evidence that reasoned governance has prevailed over polarising political strategies.

"The results underscore that voters across the country prioritise development, social cohesion, and secular governance over divisive political narratives," Sridhar Babu remarked. He further noted that Kerala's voters had opted for progress and communal harmony rather than antagonistic politics, positioning the state as a model for the nation.

Party Workers and Voter Commitment Acknowledged

Sridhar Babu highlighted the pivotal role played by Congress workers throughout Kerala and neighbouring states in achieving the electoral success. He commended their sustained efforts and commitment during the campaign period, emphasising the importance of grassroots activism.

"We remain deeply grateful to every party volunteer who worked with dedication for this victory, and to all voters who extended their confidence in us," he stated.

The minister reiterated that Congress ideology has consistently emphasised social unity and public welfare. In his view, the electoral mandate validates the party's advocacy for inclusive political engagement.

Discussing party leadership, Sridhar Babu noted that under Rahul Gandhi's stewardship, the Congress vision centred on "love and social justice" has gained fresh legitimacy through the Kerala outcome. He pledged the party would maintain this ideological direction.

Looking Toward Future Electoral Contests

Turning to forthcoming elections, Sridhar Babu expressed confidence that under Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's leadership, Congress would secure a successive term in the state. He indicated that previously announced election commitments would be fulfilled through a phased implementation strategy.

The minister also projected that the Congress-led alliance stands positioned for a substantial victory in the 2029 national elections, with aspirations to establish a government at the national level.
