Fire engulfs two auto-rickshaws at Narayanaguda fuel station

Hyderabad witnessed a frightening incident on Thursday when flames erupted at a petrol station located near YMCA in Narayanaguda, engulfing two auto-rickshaws and sending workers scrambling to contain the blaze.
The fire began when one auto-rickshaw ignited while being refuelled at the pump. The flames rapidly spread to a second vehicle standing in the vicinity, creating an alarming situation at the busy fuel distribution centre.
Quick thinking by petrol station personnel proved critical in preventing disaster. The staff successfully contained the fire and ensured it did not advance toward the fuel storage facilities, averting what could have been a catastrophic accident.
One petrol bunk employee suffered injuries during his efforts to combat the spreading flames. He was subsequently transported to a hospital in the area, where he received medical care and remained in stable condition.
The incident was brought under control in a relatively brief period, thanks to the station's fire safety protocols and the workers' rapid action. No additional injuries or fatalities were recorded.
The precise cause of the initial ignition remains under investigation by authorities, who have not yet released their findings regarding how the fire started.
