The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) honoured Sri Anjaneya Swamy at the Japali shrine in Tirumala by presenting Pattu Vastrams—traditional silk garments—during Hanuman Jayanti celebrations on Tuesday.

The ceremony saw participation from TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra and Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, who represented the temple administration during the sacred offering.

Temple priests extended a warm welcome to the officials and arranged their darshan of the deity. Following this, elaborate pujas were conducted in honour of the presiding deity. Upon completion of the rituals, the priests bestowed upon both the EO and Additional EO ceremonial Sindhoora Vastram and distributed Theertha Prasadams as prasad.

According to the Additional EO, the presentation of Pattu Vastrams to Japali Hanuman during Hanuman Jayanti represents a cherished practice that TTD has upheld annually over many years.

The religious observance extended across the temple premises in Tirumala, with TTD leadership actively participating in the festivities.

Earlier that morning, the Executive Officer and Additional Executive Officer attended a special Abhishekam—ritual ablution ceremony—performed for Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy, situated adjacent to the main Tirumala temple.

The day's proceedings featured dedicated prayers and religious rites conducted as Hanuman Jayanti brought devotees in considerable numbers to the shrine for worship. The entire celebration unfolded under the careful oversight of temple authorities and priests, who ensured adherence to traditional observances customary to this annual festival.
