Instamart Creates Dedicated Lounge for Early-Arriving Dads at Navi Mumbai Airport This Father's Day

Quick commerce platform Instamart has launched a novel Father's Day initiative that celebrates a universal family quirk: fathers who arrive at airports hours ahead of their flights. The InstaDadZone, a dedicated lounge established at Navi Mumbai Airport, transforms what is typically idle waiting time into a leisure experience tailored specifically for dads.

The concept capitalises on a widespread observation about paternal travel habits. Regardless of scheduled departure times, fathers consistently arrive early—a pattern so consistent it has become something of a family joke. Rather than simply acknowledging this tendency, Instamart designed a space where dads could actually benefit from their punctuality.

The lounge features amenities aimed at comfort and relaxation, including a massage chair, eye mask, neck pillow, complimentary chai and snacks, and entertainment options. The initiative was developed in partnership with creative agency Havas Play.

Travellers responded positively to the activation, with many seeing their own experiences reflected in the concept. One visitor noted the space provided "a massive massage chair, a newspaper rack, a coffee setup, and premium gifts he'd secretly love but never buy." Another observer remarked that while Father's Day celebrations are temporary, the paternal habit of arriving early is permanent, making such a dedicated space a fitting tribute.

Beyond the airport installation, Instamart has curated a Father's Day collection available through its platform, offering gift options, everyday essentials, and last-minute selections that can be delivered within minutes.
