New Delhi marked a Mother's Day tribute on May 15, 2026, when The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group partnered with Special Olympics Bharat to recognise the mothers of Special Olympics athletes at an exclusive gathering held at The LaLiT New Delhi.

The occasion brought together remarkable women whose steadfast commitment, perseverance, and unwavering support have been instrumental in their children's personal development and achievements. Beyond a festive gathering, the event served as an acknowledgement of the quiet fortitude and sacrifices these mothers demonstrate as they navigate their children's journeys through obstacles and triumphs.

Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson and Managing Director of The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group, attended alongside Ms. Mallika Nadda and other distinguished guests. The attendees engaged directly with the mothers, honouring their individual stories and contributions. The programme culminated in an intimate high tea at the venue, offering space for personal conversations and shared moments.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Jyotsna Suri reflected on the significance of maternal influence: "The devotion of a mother possesses the capacity to reshape destinies, and this evening celebrates women whose conviction and inner strength have enabled their children to transcend limitations and flourish with self-assurance. These women exemplify the qualities of determination, empathy, and fortitude. For The LaLiT, hospitality represents fostering genuine human bonds, and we were honoured to celebrate these extraordinary women whose selfless commitment and boundless affection set an inspiring example."

The evening underscored the collective vision of The LaLiT and Special Olympics Bharat in championing accessibility, compassion, and acknowledging those whose contributions often go unrecognised yet profoundly influence remarkable journeys.
