TGMREIS Students Achieve Strong Performance in EAPCET 2026 Examination

Hyderabad: The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGMREIS) has reported impressive outcomes from the 2026 EAPCET examination, with 1,715 students among its junior college cohort clearing the engineering, agriculture and pharmacy entrance test.
According to TGMREIS secretary B. Shafiullah, who made the announcement on Tuesday, the qualifying students represent a 75.4 per cent success rate from the 2,273 candidates who took the examination. The Engineering stream saw 727 successful candidates, while 988 students qualified for Agriculture and Pharmacy programmes.
The gender breakdown reveals significant achievement by female students. In the Engineering category, 319 boys and 408 girls secured qualification. The Agriculture and Pharmacy stream recorded 318 boys and 670 girls clearing the examination, underscoring a particularly strong female performance across both disciplines.
Mukaram Ahmed topped the examination overall. In the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream, other notable achievers included Wajeeda Tabassum at Rank 488, Mohammad Shahbaaz at Rank 614, Md Zaidan at Rank 3199, and K. Suraj at Rank 5037. Mohammad Affan Ahmed secured Rank 5422 in the Engineering stream.
The results have generated expressions of gratitude from both parents and students towards Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for his backing of minority education initiatives and expansion of residential schooling infrastructure. Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin and TGMREIS Vice Chairman and President Mohammed Faheemuddin Qureshi extended congratulations to the students, teaching staff and families, commending them for upholding academic excellence.
Shafiullah has called on parents to take advantage of the educational pathways available through TGMREIS institutions, highlighting the society's track record of delivering competitive outcomes. He pointed to the combination of quality instruction, seasoned educators, targeted examination preparation and modern facilities as factors contributing to the institutions' sustained academic performance.
