Telangana Power Generation Corporation Awarded ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Hyderabad — The Telangana State Power Generation Corporation (TGGENCO) has been conferred ISO 9001:2015 certification, marking formal recognition of the organisation's quality management frameworks and commitment to continuous improvement.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka handed over the certification to TGGENCO Chairman and Managing Director Harish at a ceremony held on Tuesday evening. Energy Special Secretary Naveen Mittal oversaw the proceedings, while SPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitendra V. Patil and ISO representative Shivayya were also present.

The certification followed a rigorous independent audit that encompassed all operational divisions and departments within the corporation. The assessment team examined compliance with ISO documentation standards, departmental performance metrics, operational effectiveness, and the organisation's progress toward its stated objectives.

Auditors verified that TGGENCO's quality management systems align with international standards and industry best practices across all units before granting approval.

"This certification reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality services backed by robust management frameworks," Bhatti Vikramarka said at the event, acknowledging the corporation's efforts in upholding established standards.

Officials indicated that the certification would enhance operational efficiency while strengthening the organisation's accountability to provide improved services to the public. The award represents international validation of TGGENCO's adherence to quality benchmarks and operational protocols.
