Telangana Polytechnic Entrance Test Results Announced; Warangal Candidate Emerges Topper

Hyderabad — Results for the Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TG Polyset) were released Saturday by the Commissioner of Technical Education at the SBTET office in Masab Tank.

The examination, administered on May 13, saw participation from 98,029 candidates. Of these, 82.94 percent successfully cleared the entrance assessment.

Performance metrics showed a notable gender divide: female candidates achieved a pass rate of 86.38 percent, while male candidates registered 72.92 percent. Namala Lokesh of Warangal topped the examination, with Banothu Hemanath from Suryapet securing the runner-up position.

In a move to modernize result dissemination, the Telangana government has deployed a digital delivery mechanism that automatically transmits results directly to students' registered mobile devices. The Electronic Service Delivery (ESD) wing rolled out this capability through the Mee Seva WhatsApp platform and associated chatbot infrastructure.

Students receive their marks via PDF documents sent through the official Mee Seva WhatsApp number 8096958096. The system operates on an entirely automated outbound basis, requiring no action from candidates to retrieve their results. Upon announcement, the system independently dispatches mark memos to all qualifying participants.

Recipients can view the PDF documents instantly within WhatsApp and save copies for future use. According to the ESD Commissioner, this digital framework eliminates delays typically associated with server congestion and technical complications, enabling faster access to results.

Mee Seva launched its WhatsApp service on November 18 of the previous year. Officials noted that the platform has since proven valuable for both students and parents seeking timely access to educational information.
