Hyderabad: The Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test for 2026 will take place on May 13 and 14, with admissions to MBA and MCA programmes at stake. Convener Prof Alwala Ravi made the announcement regarding the examination schedule.

This marks the second consecutive year that Mahatma Gandhi University is overseeing the conduct of the test.

A total of 56,223 applicants have registered for the examination this year. The gender breakdown reveals 30,308 women candidates and 25,915 men candidates participating in the assessment.

The examination structure spans three separate sessions across Telangana. The initial session on May 13 will run from 10 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a second session from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. The third and final session is scheduled for the morning of May 14.

Arrangements have been made for differently-abled candidates and those taking the examination in Urdu medium to sit for a dedicated session on May 13 during the afternoon time slot.

The test will be administered across 16 regional centres and 69 examination centres throughout the state. Approximately 100 observers will be stationed to oversee the examination proceedings.

According to Prof Alwala Ravi, the university is prioritising transparency and has put in place comprehensive logistical arrangements for all three sessions.

Entry protocols have been established for test-takers. Candidates scheduled for the morning session can enter the examination halls from 8:30 am, while those in the afternoon slot can enter from 1 pm. However, no candidates will be permitted entry after 9:45 am for the morning session or after 1:45 pm for the afternoon session.
