Telangana EAPCET 2026 Engineering Entrance Exams Set to Begin May 9

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad has completed all preparatory work for administering the TG EAPCET 2026 engineering entrance examinations throughout Telangana.

The examination window spans three days, beginning May 9 and concluding on May 11, as confirmed by Dr K Vijay Kumar Reddy, the examination convener.

A total of 2,10,766 candidates have registered to sit for the engineering stream examination this year. To accommodate this volume of test-takers, the university has established 125 examination centres distributed across the state.

The testing schedule operates on a dual-session format daily. The first sitting runs from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second sitting commences at 3 pm and concludes at 6 pm.

Entry Requirements and Restrictions

The convener has announced that strict protocols will govern admission to examination halls. Candidates arriving even a single minute past the designated start time will not be permitted entry. The examination centres will open at 7.30 am for morning session participants and at 1.30 pm for afternoon session participants.

Once the examination begins, candidates are required to remain in the examination centre until the test concludes. Early departure will not be permitted under any circumstances.

Candidates must bring three items to the examination centre: their hall ticket, an original photograph-bearing identity document, and a black or blue ballpoint pen. Mobile phones, wristwatches, calculators, and all other electronic devices are strictly prohibited from the examination hall.

Results and Ranking

Upon completion of the examination, the computer system will display candidate marks on screen immediately. However, final rankings will be determined only after normalisation procedures are applied based on the official answer key.
