Telangana Youth Congress Mobilises Against NEET Examination Leak

Hyderabad: Members of the Telangana Youth Congress gathered at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue on Tank Bund to voice their opposition to the NEET paper leak, contributing to the broader nationwide "Chhatron Ki Goonj" campaign. The demonstration centred on calls for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to step down, with participants holding him accountable for the controversy.

The protesters went further by burning an effigy of the Union minister in a show of their strong displeasure.

Jakkidi Shivacharan Reddy, President of Telangana Youth Congress, spearheaded the event. State Youth Congress In-charge Khalid and Co-in-charge Roshini Jaiswal attended as chief guests.

Speaking to the assembled crowd, Shivacharan Reddy contended that the Central government has compromised the prospects of hundreds of thousands of students through this incident. He pledged that the Youth Congress would escalate its campaign until such time as the Union Education Minister vacated his position.

The gathering represented one of several demonstrations organised under the "Chhatron Ki Goonj" campaign, which the Youth Congress has launched across the nation.

Among those present were Haridhar, President of Khairatabad District Youth Congress; State General Secretary Majid; Gurram Shyam Charan Reddy; Khaisar; and Madhusudan, President of Secunderabad District Youth Congress.
