Telangana Tourism to Host Mango Pickle Workshop in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) has opened registrations for a mango pickle-making workshop scheduled to take place at The Plaza in Begumpet on May 16. The initiative aims to safeguard Telangana's culinary heritage while fostering interest in home-based food preparation.
Conducted by renowned culinary expert VahChef Sanjay Thumma, the workshop will run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. During this two-hour session, participants will gain practical knowledge about crafting authentic mango pickle through traditional spice combinations, time-tested preservation methods, and family recipes passed down through generations.
The hands-on training component will equip attendees with skills in selecting appropriate spice blends, ensuring long-term pickle preservation, and preparing their own batch of pickle during the session itself. Participants will also receive comprehensive recipe notes and step-by-step preparation guidelines to take home.
All necessary ingredients and materials for the workshop will be supplied on-site, eliminating the need for participants to arrange anything beforehand. The event welcomes homemakers, culinary enthusiasts, and anyone passionate about traditional cooking methods.
According to TTDC, the workshop forms part of broader efforts to revive and celebrate Telangana's rich gastronomic traditions. The corporation has emphasized that workshop seats are limited and urged interested participants to complete their registrations promptly.
Those wishing to attend can register by reaching out to Telangana Tourism directly through messaging or by contacting the organization to secure their booking.
