Telangana Invited to G20 Sovereign Wealth Fund Investment Week in Dallas

Telangana's Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Labour, Employment, Training, Factories, Mines and Geology Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy have been invited to attend the G20 Sovereign Wealth Fund Investment Week, set to take place in Dallas, Texas from August 31 to September 4, 2026.

The invitation was extended by the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute (SWFI) Chairman Lakshminarayanan, aligned with the investment priorities of the United States' G20 Presidency. A delegation from SWFI visited Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to formally present the invitation to both leaders. The selection underscores growing global recognition of Telangana's investment environment, administrative framework and economic prospects.

The G20 Sovereign Wealth Fund Investment Week will convene high-level officials, sovereign wealth funds, public pension schemes, central banks, endowments and major global asset management firms. Together, these participating institutions oversee more than USD 10 trillion in assets across over 50 categories of institutional investors.

The gathering will enable direct interaction with some of the world's most significant investors and capital allocators. Discussions will span investment opportunities in infrastructure, industrial development, mining, technology, skill development and sustainable growth. Policy dialogues will examine global investment patterns, capital flows and emerging economic prospects.

The forum aims to reinforce bilateral and multilateral investment ties while raising Telangana's visibility among international investors. Officials believe participation could unlock long-term capital inflows into priority sectors, thereby fostering industrial growth, job creation and sustainable development across the state.

The invitation represents a significant step forward in Telangana's strategy to establish itself as an attractive hub for international investment and strategic partnerships on the world stage.
