Telangana Launches Explore2Expand Initiative to Connect 1,000 Businesses and Students with Global Opportunities

Telangana's IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu unveiled the Explore2Expand initiative on Thursday, a comprehensive programme aimed at connecting 1,000 businesses and students from the state with global opportunities by the end of March 2027.

Introduced at an event in Hyderabad, the Explore2Expand platform—also referred to as E2E—is structured to provide support across multiple sectors including enterprises, export-focused businesses, educational institutions, startups, and working professionals seeking international engagement.

The Minister outlined the initiative's scope, which encompasses international missions, export promotion visits, student exposure programmes, and global networking opportunities. He characterised the programme as forward-thinking and called on businesses and students across Telangana to participate actively in expanding their reach into international markets.

Crediting Sundeep Kumar Makthala for developing and spearheading the initiative, Sridhar Babu highlighted how the platform bridges Telangana and Indian talent with enterprises and global market opportunities. The initiative aligns with the state's broader economic objectives, including boosting export performance and fostering entrepreneurship while supporting Telangana's aspiration to achieve trillion-dollar economy status.

The inaugural mission under the initiative will take participants to Singapore from May 21 to 24, marking the start of a planned series of international engagements.

The launch event was attended by BJP MLA Payal Shankar, Tconsult Director Bhagya Lakshmi Vakiti, Secretary Yamini Maddukuri, and Keshav Soni. The Minister emphasised that the initiative would reinforce the state's standing in the global arena while creating fresh avenues for business growth and student development.
