Hyderabad — In a significant move to strengthen educational infrastructure, the Telangana Government has formalised partnerships with three prominent organisations to finance comprehensive school development projects across the state.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy presided over the formal signing ceremony held at the Secretariat, where agreements were exchanged between the School Education Department and Raheja Group, Ramky Foundation, and Yashoda Foundation. The three corporate entities pledged substantial financial commitments through their Corporate Social Responsibility programmes.

Neel Raheja, Alla Dakshayani, and Gorukanti Devender Rao, representing their respective organisations, presented the agreement documents to the Chief Minister at the event.

Ramky Foundation's Dual Projects

Ramky Foundation has committed Rs 19.66 crore to establish an integrated educational campus at Jawahar Nagar in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, which will serve students from pre-primary through intermediate levels. Additionally, the foundation will allocate Rs 10.4 crore to enhance facilities at Zilla Parishad High School in Thukkuguda, located in Maheshwaram mandal of Rangareddy district, covering pre-primary to Class V and intermediate education.

The foundation is bearing 40 per cent of the project costs for both these initiatives, according to officials.

Raheja Group's Significant Investment

K Raheja Group will deploy Rs 50.50 crore for establishing comprehensive school infrastructure at Kondapur in Rangareddy district, encompassing facilities spanning pre-primary to intermediate classes.

Yashoda Foundation's Contribution

Yashoda Foundation will invest Rs 12.20 crore to develop infrastructure at MPPS Subhash Nagar in Uppal, catering to pre-primary students as well as those in Class VI and Class VII.

Official Participation

School Education Secretary Yogita Rana attended the signing ceremony, alongside Commissioner of Technical Education Devasena and Chief Minister's Special Secretary Ajit Reddy. Indian Green Building Council Chairman C. Shekhar Reddy and other officials were also present at the programme.
