Hyderabad: The Telangana branch of the Bharatiya Janata Party marked the alliance's success across five state elections on Monday, highlighting victories in Assam, West Bengal, and Puducherry.

Members and party activists convened at the BJP headquarters in Hyderabad, with State President N. Ramchander Rao leading the proceedings. The gathering featured traditional celebratory elements including sweet distribution, firecracker displays, and chants backing Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Several party luminaries participated in the event, among them K. Laxman, Aleti Maheshwar Reddy, Anji Reddy, Kasam Venkateshwarlu, and N. V. Subhash. The occasion created a festive setting across the office premises.

The celebrations reflected broader momentum for the party following the electoral outcomes. Earlier during the day, a cohort of medical practitioners formally joined the BJP through its Doctors' Cell initiative. Ramchander Rao received them ceremonially, presenting party insignia as he welcomed their participation into the organization's professional wing.

Speaking to journalists, Ramchander Rao contended that recent inductions of minority community members from Kukatpally demonstrated the falsehood of negative narratives surrounding the party. He reiterated the BJP's stance of neutrality toward religious and communal divisions.

The state president highlighted the Prime Minister's framework of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas," underscoring the party's dedication to equitable development initiatives.

Ramchander Rao directed criticism toward All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen figures Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi, asserting they maintained political obstacles to consolidate influence and obstruct progress on women's advancement. He countered that recent electoral results demonstrated women's backing for Modi nationwide and signaled popular rejection of what he characterized as the opposition INDI alliance's divisive approach.

The state president noted that Telangana residents were monitoring the political landscape with keen attention and would make their positions clear in forthcoming electoral contests.

Ramchander Rao extended an invitation to residents to participate in a public event featuring Prime Minister Modi scheduled for May 10 at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds. He noted this would constitute the Prime Minister's initial public appearance in Hyderabad since beginning his third consecutive term in office.
