Tata Power Expands Autism Support Network Through E-Sanidhya Platform, Reaching Millions Across India

April 29, 2026

Bangalore — As India grapples with the challenge of supporting children on the autism spectrum, Tata Power has substantially broadened its commitment to building accessible care networks through Pay Autention, its comprehensive social initiative dedicated to autism awareness and intervention.

With approximately 1 in 100 children identified as being on the autism spectrum, many families continue to encounter obstacles in obtaining timely diagnoses and quality care. Recognizing this gap, Pay Autention has evolved into an integrated platform that brings together specialists, educators, therapists, institutional partners, caregivers, and families to create pathways for sustained, accessible support.

The initiative has made considerable strides since its inception. Over 2,700 public-facing professionals have received training through the program, while partnerships with more than 500 expert organizations have been established. Community engagement has extended to approximately 18,000 individuals across 8 states through on-ground activities. The digital component, E-Sanidhya, has achieved even broader reach, now operational across 28 states and 4 Union Territories.

Beyond community-focused interventions, Tata Power is prioritizing workplace inclusion as part of its people-centered strategy. The company has launched structured training modules, workshops, and engagement programs targeting employees and frontline staff to foster understanding and empathy around autism. These internal initiatives aim to cultivate a more welcoming organizational environment while equipping staff to serve as informed advocates within their broader communities.

This Autism Awareness Month represents a turning point for the initiative, emphasizing deeper community connections and long-term sustainability. Pay Autention is actively seeking partnerships and collaborations through expert forums, panel discussions, and community narratives to amplify autism awareness across the country.

Through these multifaceted efforts, Tata Power is working to transition the conversation from mere awareness to constructing genuine, inclusive systems that support individuals on the autism spectrum and their families both within its own workforce and throughout the communities it operates in.
