Suzuki Motorcycle India Opens First Experience Zone in Punjab with Ludhiana Dealership

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler arm of Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation, has opened a new dealership in Ludhiana, reinforcing its footprint across Punjab and India.

The facility, branded as Pluton Wheels (Pluton Suzuki), was inaugurated on May 1, 2026, and marks the company's first Experience Zone in the state. The opening brings SMIPL's total network to 1,244 dealership outlets nationwide.

Located at Ansal Plaza in Gurdev Nagar, the dealership combines retail and after-sales services under a single roof. The outlet showcases Suzuki's complete portfolio of scooters, motorcycles, and big bikes while providing integrated 3S services—Sales, Service, and Spare Parts. The design prioritizes customer convenience and comfort, reflecting the company's commitment to delivering a premium buying and ownership experience.

Managing Director Kenichi Umeda presided over the inauguration ceremony alongside other SMIPL officials and customers. In his remarks, Umeda highlighted how the new dealership strengthens the company's connection with riders in the region.

"Pluton Suzuki in Ludhiana brings us closer to our customers, giving them easy access to our full range of scooters, motorcycles, big bikes and after-sales services. This dealership allows us to be by the side of our customers, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ownership journey," Umeda said.

The managing director also pointed to several customer engagement initiatives that complement the dealership's launch. These include Suzuki MotoFest, the Access Mileage Contest, V-STROM Experience rides, and Gixxer Pitstop—all designed to foster a community around the brand and celebrate motorcycling culture.

Umeda extended gratitude to dealer partner Gaurav Kanodia for enabling the partnership. With this addition, Ludhiana now hosts two authorized Suzuki dealerships, while Punjab's total touchpoints with the brand reach 12 outlets.
