Bengaluru – Greenwood High International School has garnered national distinction at the National Finance Olympiad 2025-26, with students claiming top positions and the school itself receiving the prestigious "School of the Year, NFO 2025–2026" award.

The school fielded 62 participants spanning Grades 5 through 11 in the competition, reflecting the institution's commitment to fostering financial literacy among its student body. The standout performer was Rajvika Sawa from Grade 5, who secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1 position and received a Certificate for Outstanding Performance. The National Finance Olympiad functions as a nationwide initiative aimed at enhancing student understanding of financial concepts including budgeting, banking, investments, financial planning, and entrepreneurship. The competition attracted participation from more than 500 schools across India, establishing itself as a significant assessment platform for evaluating financial literacy among young learners through age-appropriate categories and benchmarking standards.

Mrs. Niru Agarwal, Managing Trustee of Greenwood High, expressed satisfaction with the results. "We take great pride in the exceptional performance, determination, and academic excellence demonstrated by our students on the national platform," she stated. "We extend our congratulations to our rank holders Rajvika and Atharva for their outstanding accomplishments, and we acknowledge the exceptional efforts of all our award-winning students. This competition has reinforced our institution's commitment to comprehensive student development."

The school's strong showing underscores its emphasis on experiential learning and practical skill development through national-level competitive participation. By enabling students to engage in such platforms, the institution aims to build confidence and discipline while providing exposure to competitive environments that extend beyond traditional classroom instruction.
