Foundation Stone Laid for ₹651 Crore KJS India Manufacturing Facility in Sangareddy

Telangana's IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu presided over the foundation stone ceremony for KJS India Private Limited's new manufacturing facility on Friday. The Unit-2 project is located at Thogarpally village in Kondapur mandal within Sangareddy district.
The manufacturing complex will span 44 acres and represent a capital investment of ₹651 crore. The facility will incorporate cutting-edge technology in its operations.
KJS India operates as a contract manufacturing and packaging service provider to several multinational corporations. The company's client portfolio includes Nestlé, Hindustan Unilever, Mayora, and Dr Reddy's Laboratories.
Employment generation remains a key aspect of the project. The facility is projected to provide 1,551 direct employment opportunities. Additionally, the establishment is anticipated to generate approximately 5,000 indirect employment opportunities across the region.
The new manufacturing unit is positioned to reinforce Telangana's manufacturing capabilities in the food processing and FMCG sectors, strengthening the global market presence of the Made in Telangana brand.
State officials highlighted that the investment would catalyse industrial expansion and job creation in Sangareddy district. Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha, Medak Member of Parliament Raghunandan Rao, and other political representatives participated in the ceremony.
