Sony Launches BRAVIA 3II Televisions Featuring Advanced AI Processing and 4K 120Hz Gaming Support

Sony India has unveiled the BRAVIA 3II television series, marking a significant advancement in the company's mid-range entertainment offerings. The new lineup brings artificial intelligence-driven picture processing to households across the country, combining premium features previously available only in higher-end models.
At the core of the BRAVIA 3II is Sony's AI-powered XR Processor™, which leverages cognitive intelligence to analyze and enhance video content in real time. The technology mimics human perception of sight and sound, enabling the television to improve depth, color saturation, and image sharpness automatically. The XR Triluminos Pro™ technology expands the color palette to billions of shades while deepening blacks and brightening highlights. Additional enhancements include XR Clear Image, which minimizes noise and blur for sharper frames, and Motionflow XR, which smooths motion during fast-paced sequences in films, sports broadcasts, and gaming.
The television integrates Dolby Vision® for enhanced HDR visuals with richer colors and improved contrast, complemented by Dolby Atmos® for immersive spatial audio. Custom-designed speakers reduce audio distortion while improving sound clarity, particularly for dialogue-heavy content. The DTS:X® surround sound format provides additional dimensional audio capabilities.
Gaming enthusiasts will benefit from the television's 4K 120fps performance via HDMI 2.1 connectivity. Four HDMI 2.1 ports support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), technologies that reduce input lag and eliminate screen tearing. A dedicated Game Menu provides quick access to gaming settings, while Dolby Vision® Gaming enhances visual fidelity during gameplay. The BRAVIA 3II includes PlayStation 5 optimizations and PS Remote Play functionality for console gaming.
The television runs Google TV, providing access to over 400,000 films and television programs alongside thousands of applications and games. Personalized recommendations and separate user profiles streamline content discovery. Hands-free voice search through Google Assistant allows users to control the television and manage smart home devices via voice commands. The system supports Google Cast, AirPlay 2, Apple HomeKit, and Amazon Alexa-compatible devices. All 2026 models will receive Google Gemini support through over-the-air updates, introducing enhanced AI-powered voice capabilities and improved content recommendations.
Sony Pictures Core, the company's premium streaming service, comes integrated into the BRAVIA 3II. The platform offers curated films including IMAX Enhanced titles, with Pure Stream technology enabling streaming speeds up to 80 Mbps for picture quality comparable to 4K Blu-ray. Customers receive five movie credits for twelve months of service.
The television features a minimalist aesthetic designed to complement contemporary home interiors. An updated Inclusive Remote Control includes ergonomic button design with distinct shapes and clear spacing for improved usability. Sony's X-Protection PRO guards against dust, humidity, lightning strikes, and power surges. The Eco Dashboard 2 feature allows users to monitor energy consumption and access power-saving recommendations.
The BRAVIA 3II launches in multiple sizes over several months. The 55-inch and 65-inch models begin rolling out in May 2026, followed by 75-inch variants. An 85-inch model will arrive between July and August, with a 100-inch option completing the lineup during the same period. The larger screens aim to deliver an immersive viewing experience comparable to theatrical cinema.
Pricing starts at ₹99,990 for the 55-inch model, with a manufacturer's recommended price of ₹1,59,900. The 65-inch variant carries a best buy price of ₹1,24,990 against an MRP of ₹1,99,900.
