Sigma University Hosts International Conference on Advanced Research, Forges New Global Partnerships

Sigma University brought together researchers, academics, industry professionals, and students from around the world on April 28th and 29th, 2026, for the International Conference on Advanced Research in Science, Technology & Management (SICARSTM–2026). The event was jointly organised with Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and University of Economics & Finance.
The conference's opening ceremony featured Prof. Anil Bhardwaj, Director of the Physical Research Laboratory in Ahmedabad, as the principal guest. University leadership present included Patron Shri Shaileshbhai Shah, Vice Patron Smt. Jyotshanaben Shah, President Dr. Harsh Shah, Vice President Dr. Shreya Shah, Managing Director Dr. Jigar Patel, Provost Dr. Priyesh Gandhi, Registrar Mr. Priyank Patel, and Controller of Finance and Accounts Mr. Harshank Patel, alongside departmental heads, faculty, and representatives from numerous institutions.
The gathering witnessed substantial participation, with over 300 research abstracts submitted for oral presentations across three thematic areas. Twenty-five complete research papers have been accepted for publication in Scopus-indexed journals, with journal collaborations providing pathways for international scholarly publication.
The conference drew speakers and participants from institutions including IIT Gandhinagar, Jawaharlal Nehru University, University of Wollongong, GIFT City, Osmania University, Agro-Economic Research Centre, IIT (BHU), Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, CSIR–Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Nirma University, Islamic University, and KIU.
On April 29th, Sigma University signed Memorandums of Understanding with two international partners: the University of Economics & Finance in Vietnam, represented by Dr. Ngo Minh Hai (Vice President), and Ural Federal University in Russia, represented by Ms. Svetlana Kurbatova (Head – International Program and Project Management Office). The agreements are designed to expand opportunities in student exchanges, collaborative research initiatives, faculty development programmes, and cross-cultural academic exposure.
The conference organisers acknowledged the contributions of keynote speakers, session moderators, paper presenters, and attendees. They also recognised the efforts of faculty, administrative staff, and student volunteers who facilitated the event's successful completion.
The conference continues with additional technical sessions, keynote presentations, and panel discussions, maintaining its position as a forum for research innovation and international scholarly collaboration.
