Road Widening Demand Sparks Protest in Shamshabad-Narkuda

A group of villagers and local representatives gathered for a protest on Friday in Hyderabad, pressing for action on the long-delayed Shamshabad-Narkuda road widening project. The demonstrators organized a dharna to voice their frustration over what they characterized as prolonged administrative inaction.

Community members leveled accusations against MLA Prakash Goud, contending that his alleged inattention had resulted in the stalling of road expansion efforts. Participants emphasized the urgency of completing the project, highlighting its importance for enhancing connectivity and bolstering road safety in the region.

The protesters also criticized the MLA for failing to fulfill his official duties, with several calling for his resignation from office.

Law enforcement personnel arrived at the demonstration site and took action to disperse the gathering. Officers detained those participating in the protest and cleared the area.

Among those who took part in the demonstration were former ZPTC member Satish, Kumar Yadav, Mahesh Yadav, Krishna Yadav, Krishna, Nagesh, Mahesh Goud, Srikanth Goud, and Babu.
