BC-E Reservation Driving Educational Progress Among Minority Students: Shabbir Ali

Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir highlighted the positive impact of the four per cent BC-E reservation scheme for economically disadvantaged Muslims, crediting it with advancing educational outcomes among minority communities in Telangana.

Speaking at a recognition ceremony for top performers at Kalabharathi Auditorium in Kamareddy on Saturday, Shabbir Ali commended several achievers from Sandeepani Junior College who excelled in their Intermediate examinations. The event saw cash awards distributed to outstanding students, including Asma Jabeen, who ranked second statewide in BiPC second year, and Satvika, who placed third in MPC second year. K. Akshaya secured second rank in MPC first year, while Ayesha Siddeqa achieved fourth rank in BiPC first year.

The adviser drew particular attention to the accomplishments of female students, noting that they were establishing new standards in academics and laying the groundwork for promising professional futures. He emphasized that many of the top performers hailed from rural and economically disadvantaged communities, making their success particularly noteworthy.

Shabbir Ali attributed the strong performance of minority students to the inclusive nature of government educational policies. The BC-E reservation framework, he explained, had created pathways for deserving students from marginalized backgrounds to access quality learning opportunities. The achievements of these students, he noted, reflected broader recognition of Kamareddy district's educational progress.

The adviser underscored the importance of multiple stakeholders in fostering academic success, specifically acknowledging the contributions of parents and teachers in nurturing student potential and promoting excellence. He called on students to pursue their studies with dedication and to leverage their education for societal benefit.

Reaffirming the Congress government's focus on educational development, Shabbir Ali pledged continued investment in strengthening schools and colleges across Telangana and supporting high-achieving students throughout the state.

The event was attended by District Collector Ashish Sangwan, college faculty, parents, and local officials.
