Hyderabad: Minister Seethakka was conferred the Best Service Award during a ceremony at Shilpakala Vedika in Madhapur. Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu presented the award, which was organised under the banner of the Srinivasa Ramanujan Foundation. The event drew a substantial attendance of students from across the city.

The recognition honours Seethakka's extensive involvement in public service, with particular emphasis on her initiatives in rural development and programmes benefiting women and children. Prominent dignitaries and government officials were present at the occasion and commended her contributions to public life.

During her address, Seethakka expressed her pride at receiving the award from Venkaiah Naidu, highlighting his extensive background in serving the nation. She acknowledged the value of his continued counsel for the country's progress.

Turning her attention to the student audience, Seethakka underscored that achieving success demands unwavering commitment and effort. She encouraged them to establish well-defined objectives and pursue them with determination. She elaborated that the dedication demonstrated during one's academic years translates into personal dignity and integrity in later life. Seethakka further emphasised that education serves as a foundation for self-respect and constitutes an enduring resource that remains with an individual throughout their lifetime.

Reflecting on her own path, Seethakka disclosed that she had interrupted her formal education at the tenth standard. Subsequently, she resumed her studies and went on to earn degrees in law—both bachelor's and master's levels—and completed doctoral research, all while maintaining her involvement in public service activities.

Seethakka also voiced satisfaction regarding Mulugu district's achievement in securing the highest performance in Class 10 board examinations statewide. She attributed this success to the dedication of teachers in maintaining rigorous academic standards and the effective coordination provided by the district administration under the stewardship of former Collector Divakar. She extended congratulations to the students who performed exceptionally well in their examinations.

Konda Surekha and journalist Venkat Narayana were among the other dignitaries present at the event.
