Schaeffler India Reports 18.8% Revenue Growth in Q1 FY2026
Chennai — Schaeffler India Limited (BSE: 505790, NSE: SCHAEFFLER), the motion technology company, has announced approval of its financial results for the quarter ending March 31, 2026.
Performance in the January-March Quarter
Net revenue from operations during the first quarter of 2026 reached INR 25,070 million, marking an 18.8% increase compared to the same period last year. The figure represents a 5.1% decline from the preceding quarter ended December 31, 2025.
Profit before tax, excluding exceptional items, totaled INR 4,257 million in the quarter, reflecting a 19.7% year-on-year increase. The profit before tax margin held steady at 17.0%, marginally higher than the 16.9% recorded in both the corresponding quarter of 2025 and the previous quarter.
The company's net profit for the quarter stood at INR 3,197 million, with a net profit margin of 12.8%.
Management Commentary
Harsha Kadam, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, highlighted the company's performance trajectory: "We are satisfied with the sustained expansion we are witnessing across all business divisions. Our Automotive Technologies, Vehicle Lifetime Solutions, and Exports segments have all achieved substantial double-digit expansion, supported by successful contract acquisitions in our priority sectors."
He further noted that despite persistent challenges in supply chain operations and cost pressures from inflation, the company has preserved profitability quality. "This outcome demonstrates the strength of our approach centered on production localization and efficient capital deployment," Kadam stated. "We remain dedicated to accomplishing our financial and operational objectives, capitalizing on emerging market possibilities, and generating sustained returns for all stakeholders."
