Krishnavataram Star Sanskruti Jayana Seeks Blessings at Sacred Sites Before Film Release

Sanskruti Jayana, making her film debut in the lead role of Satyabhama, has embarked on a spiritual journey ahead of the release of Krishnavataram. The debutant actress recently journeyed to Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, where she met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and presented him with the film's trailer. During her time in the state, she also visited several temples and offered prayers as part of the film's promotional campaign.

Following her visit to Mathura, Jayana travelled to Dwarka, traditionally considered the kingdom where Krishna spent his later years. There, she met with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and screened the film's trailer for him. The actress subsequently visited the Satyabhama temple and the Dwarkadhish temple to offer prayers.

Describing the significance of her visits, Jayana explained her intentions: "I wanted to offer my prayers at Krishna Ji's Janmabhoomi and Karmabhoomi, and since I am playing the role of Satyabhama I also wanted to ensure that I visit the Satyabhama temple and Dwaradhish temple and seek blessings from the divine. It was such an emotional moment with the aarti, darshan and devotion. I also met the honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel ji and showcased him the trailer which was quite a special moment. He truly liked the trailer and has given us his blessings for the same."

Jayana is the granddaughter of Anandiben Patel, who previously served as Gujarat's Chief Minister and currently holds the position of Governor of Uttar Pradesh. Krishnavataram is set for worldwide theatrical release on May 7, 2026, marking Jayana's entry into cinema.
