Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar hosted a formal farewell event to recognize 37 officers from the city police force who have reached the end of their service. The ceremony, organized by the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate, celebrated personnel who completed their careers through superannuation.

During the event, Sajjanar presented each retiring officer with a shawl and commemorative memento as tokens of appreciation for their years of dedicated service to the department.

In his remarks, the Commissioner highlighted the significant contributions these officers have made toward advancing policing standards and modernizing law enforcement practices in Hyderabad. He underscored their instrumental role in strengthening institutional capabilities throughout their tenure.

The Commissioner also took the opportunity to offer practical counsel to the departing officers regarding their financial security in retirement. He cautioned them to place retirement funds only with trustworthy financial institutions and to exercise vigilance against potential fraud schemes.

The City Police Co-operative Credit Society facilitated the distribution of retirement benefits to the officers. Sajjanar extended warm wishes for the retirees' health, happiness, and peaceful transition into their next chapter.

The department arranged official vehicles to transport the retiring personnel to their homes, a gesture reflecting the organization's respect and gratitude for their service.

The programme drew attendance from senior police officials and representatives of the Police Co-operative Credit Society. The event concluded following the presentation of retirement benefits and formal recognition of the retiring officers.
