Telangana government sanctions Rs 100 crore for road upgrades in Andole

The Telangana government has greenlit a substantial infrastructure initiative in Andole constituency with administrative approval for road development projects valued at Rs 100 crore. The decision came under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's administration, facilitated by Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha's advocacy for the region.

The comprehensive package encompasses three significant road corridors requiring upgrades. The first project allocates Rs 30 crore toward converting the Maktakyasaram–Munipalli route through Garlapalli and Allapur from single-lane to dual-lane configuration.

A second initiative directs Rs 40 crore toward the Sangupet–Pocharam corridor, spanning 18 kilometres from the 0/0 to 18/0 kilometre mark. This investment will fund both widening and structural reinforcement of the existing roadway. The same allocation covers conversion of the Minpur–Mudimanikyam section—stretching 3.3 kilometres—from single-lane to double-lane status.

The third component reserves Rs 30 crore for the Narsingi–Shankarampet stretch covering 11 kilometres. Beyond standard road widening and strengthening work, this project includes construction of high-level bridge infrastructure to enhance passage capabilities.

Officials expect these interventions to meaningfully improve transportation connectivity throughout Andole constituency while promoting safer passage for commuters across the region's key thoroughfares.
