Hyderabad — Former BRS MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy has secured bail from the Telangana High Court in the Moinabad farmhouse drugs case, paving the way for his release from judicial custody.

Reddy had been held in judicial remand at Chanchalguda jail and approached the High Court for relief. Following submissions from both the prosecution and defence, the court approved his bail application with specified conditions.

The case emerged into public view after police conducted a raid at Reddy's farmhouse in Moinabad on the night of March 14. During the operation, officers discovered individuals allegedly engaged in drug and alcohol consumption at the gathering. The incident has drawn significant attention across both Telugu states as investigations continue.

According to the complaint filed by Sub-Inspector Nayimuddin, gunfire occurred at the farmhouse during the raid. Police seized a German-manufactured revolver, a single live round, and four spent cartridges from the premises.

Authorities also recovered cocaine from Sharath Kumar, identified as Reddy's driver. The seizure further included premium foreign liquor brands—Don Julio, Royal Salute, Chivas, and Belvedere vodka—along with 48 beer bottles.

Police registered cases against a total of 11 individuals present at the gathering, comprising 10 men and one woman, all of whom were taken into custody during the initial investigation.
