Telangana Chief Minister Inaugurates Massive ₹13,006 Crore Road Upgrade Initiative

Telangana's Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has set in motion a transformative road infrastructure project valued at ₹13,006.27 crore, designed to revitalise connectivity across the state. The comprehensive initiative encompasses the widening and reinforcement of 441 critical road corridors totalling 6,092.37 kilometres, implemented through the Hybrid Annuity Model framework.

The formal inauguration took place in Nalgonda district, where the Chief Minister unveiled a foundation stone pylon at Kanagal on the Nalgonda–Devarakonda road adjacent to the market yard.

The road development scheme represents a significant push to strengthen the state's transport infrastructure. By upgrading these 441 road stretches, the government aims to facilitate smoother movement of traffic and bolster economic activity across Telangana's various regions.

During the same event, Revanth Reddy also laid the foundation stone for the inaugural phase of a water supply project serving the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation. The state government has earmarked ₹83 crore for this drinking water initiative, which will enhance water distribution systems and upgrade utility pipelines to meet the requirements of the municipality's expanding population.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, and Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Adluri Laxman Kumar.

Several elected representatives participated in the proceedings, including Member of Parliament Raghuveera Reddy, Members of the Legislative Assembly Jaiveer Reddy, Bathula Laxma Reddy, and Balu Naik, as well as Member of the Legislative Council Nellikanti Satyam.
