Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has pushed for rapid completion of land acquisition processes for irrigation projects across the undivided Mahabubnagar district, instructing ministers and MLAs to treat the matter with utmost urgency.

During a review meeting convened at MCRHRD with elected representatives and officials from the Mahabubnagar region, the Chief Minister outlined critical priorities for irrigation development in Palamuru.

Revanth Reddy placed particular emphasis on accelerating the land acquisition process for the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, emphasizing that delays would not be tolerated. He also directed authorities to prioritize land acquisition for other irrigation projects throughout the district.

To address compensation payment concerns, the Chief Minister assured that the government stands ready to release funds promptly, thereby preventing any hold-ups in disbursements. Additionally, he indicated the state government's willingness to settle outstanding bills related to irrigation works already undertaken in the district.
