Telangana Chief Minister Reviews State-wide Maize and Paddy Procurement Operations

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy convened a video conference with District Collectors to assess the progress of maize and paddy procurement initiatives across the state.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister engaged in detailed discussions with district officials regarding procurement logistics and examined the operational setup at procurement centres to ensure efficient purchasing from farmers.

The review session was attended by several senior government officials and ministers. Those present included Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Adluri Laxman Kumar. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka also participated, along with Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao, Vakiti Srihari, and Seethakka.

The meeting also included participation from MP Vem Narender Reddy, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, and other senior administrative officials. District Collectors from across Telangana joined the proceedings through the video conference to contribute to the discussion on procurement operations.

The Chief Minister conducted an extensive examination of procurement arrangements and reviewed the current status of procurement centre operations throughout the state, focusing on measures designed to facilitate smooth transactions between the government and farming communities.
