Telangana Public School at Arutla to be Inaugurated by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to open the Telangana Public School at Arutla on Wednesday as part of the government's drive to revamp public education standards across the state.

The institution represents a significant component of the administration's educational transformation strategy, with the overarching goal of delivering quality learning opportunities that rival those available in the private sector. State authorities view the facility as a prototype capable of reshaping how government schools function in Telangana.

Comprehensive Facilities and Integrated Curriculum

The Chief Minister will arrive at the campus at 9:30 a.m. to formally unveil the school's foundation stone. His visit will include tours of digital learning spaces, scientific facilities, reading rooms, meal preparation areas and athletic grounds.

Revanth Reddy will also spend time with pupils, educators and governing body representatives. He plans to share a meal with students before addressing attendees. The school serves learners from the nursery stage through the Intermediate level on a single campus, combining academic coursework with sports participation, creative pursuits and character-building activities.

World-Class Infrastructure and Support Systems

The state developed the initiative following consultations with the Telangana Education Commission, which is led by Dr. Aakunuri Murali. The commission oversaw the creation of the Arutla facility. The school operates through English-medium instruction and employs contemporary pedagogical approaches.

All enrolled students receive complimentary transport, morning meals, lunch provisions and evening refreshments. The campus includes technologically equipped classrooms, research laboratories, reading facilities, fitness centres and dedicated food service areas. Sports amenities encompass grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, tennis and covered recreation spaces. Specialised coaching staff guide students across multiple sporting disciplines.

Phased Expansion Strategy

Four schools were chosen for the initial phase of this programme. The first batch comprises facilities at Arutla and Manchal in Rangareddy district, as well as Vangoor and Polkampally in the former Mahabubnagar district.

The government intends to scale the model progressively across the state, with an objective to open 100 institutions of this type within the foreseeable future.

Currently, the Arutla location accommodates 1,814 pupils across its pre-primary, primary, secondary and Intermediate classes. The school has generated considerable enthusiasm among families seeking enrolment opportunities for their wards. Such has been the level of interest that admissions have been capped, with the institution no longer accepting new applications. State officials anticipate the Telangana Public School programme will establish a new standard for public sector education and represent a transformative development in the state's learning landscape.
