Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to travel to Delhi on Wednesday to pursue central approvals for Metro Phase-2, marking a significant push for the state's public transport infrastructure expansion.

During his visit to the capital, the Chief Minister will engage with Union Ministers to deliberate on development priorities and welfare initiatives benefiting Telangana. The itinerary also encompasses consultations with senior figures from the All India Congress Committee.

The primary focus of the Delhi trip centres on securing necessary clearances for the Metro expansion project. Government officials indicated that Revanth Reddy will additionally examine outstanding proposals pertaining to infrastructure development and welfare programme implementation.
