Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy took part in the Census 2027 self-enumeration initiative on Sunday, entering his personal information via the online platform from his Jubilee Hills residence.

Officials from the Census department visited the Chief Minister to outline the procedural aspects and underscore the significance of the ongoing self-enumeration exercise. They highlighted how the digital framework would enable the state to gather comprehensive and dependable information efficiently.

Addressing the occasion, Revanth Reddy called upon residents across Telangana to engage meaningfully with the Census 2027 self-enumeration process. He stressed that widespread citizen involvement was crucial for informed governance, strategic planning, and the effective rollout of social welfare initiatives.

The Chief Minister further noted that reliable demographic and socio-economic data would allow the administration to formulate customised interventions and enhance the quality of public services reaching diverse communities.

Bharati Holikeri and R. V. Karnan were among those present at the event. Officials characterized the move as a significant milestone in promoting digital-first approaches to census collection.

Priyanka Ala, C. H. Priyanka, and several other government functionaries also participated in the programme.
