Telangana Chief Minister Inaugurates Breakfast Programme for Government School Students

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has unveiled a breakfast initiative designed to provide nutritious meals to students attending government schools across the state, positioning it as a cornerstone of the administration's commitment to student welfare and educational outcomes.
The scheme was formally launched during the opening of a Telangana Public School in Arutla village, located in Manchala mandal within Rangareddy district. At the event, Reddy sat down with students to share a meal, using the occasion to speak with them about their academic progress and their experiences at school. The students responded with enthusiasm, creating a convivial atmosphere during the school's inauguration.
State officials characterised the breakfast programme as a measure to guarantee that every student arrives at school having consumed a nutritious meal. The government expects the scheme to contribute meaningfully to student welfare and enhance learning outcomes across government educational institutions.
Underscoring the government's dedication to student wellbeing, Reddy emphasised the significance of providing quality nutrition in schools. During his visit, he toured the school's kitchen facilities and worked alongside the women staff engaged in food preparation, including assisting in making chapatis. This hands-on engagement highlighted the administration's attention to the calibre of meals delivered through the programme. The kitchen staff expressed appreciation for the Chief Minister's visit and the opportunity to engage with him directly.
State authorities pointed to the breakfast programme as part of a broader agenda to elevate public education through enhanced infrastructure and student-focused welfare schemes. The school inauguration event also reflected the Telangana Public School model's underlying philosophy and the state's commitment to fostering inclusive and equitable educational opportunities.
