Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Inaugurates ₹35.50 Crore Eco-Park and Environmental Projects

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has inaugurated a suite of environmental development initiatives valued at ₹35.50 crore, encompassing eco-park expansion and conservation infrastructure across the state.

The Chief Minister formally opened development work at the Gurranguda Reserve Forest, a project undertaken at an investment of ₹17.84 crore as part of the state's commitment to environmental stewardship and eco-tourism advancement.

In a parallel move, Revanth Reddy remotely commissioned an additional set of eco-park initiatives totalling ₹17.66 crore spread across multiple regions of Telangana.

Projects span eleven districts

The inaugurated schemes extend across Nizamabad, Kothagudem, Hanumakonda, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Mulugu, Narayanpet, Bhupalpally, Sangareddy, Rangareddy and Warangal districts.

The undertakings encompass urban park development, eco-park creation and environmental infrastructure expansion. The portfolio also includes wildlife preservation initiatives, modernisation of zoological facilities and construction of residential infrastructure for forest and environmental personnel.

State officials indicated that these measures are designed to enhance public engagement with green spaces while bolstering conservation activities throughout Telangana.

The projects align with the state government's overarching vision for sustainable growth and natural resource preservation.

Officials anticipate that the initiatives will foster improved biodiversity protection, expand recreational amenities and catalyse eco-tourism growth. The schemes are additionally intended to amplify environmental consciousness and upgrade facilities within forest and wildlife zones.

The inauguration represents a significant step forward in the government's broader agenda to scale up green infrastructure and refine environmental stewardship across the state.
