Hyderabad Registration Department to Shut Services for Server Upgrade

Hyderabad's Stamps and Registration Department has announced a three-day suspension of registration services beginning June 26, coinciding with planned server maintenance and technological upgrades.

Inspector General of Stamps and Registration Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu confirmed that the department's website and all associated online platforms will be temporarily taken offline during this maintenance window.

The upgrade initiative is designed to boost server performance, reinforce security protocols, and deliver improved service quality to the public. Officials stressed that this overhaul represents a significant infrastructure investment following nearly five years of operation under the existing system.

The department strategically scheduled the maintenance to align with a period encompassing public holidays, thereby limiting disruption to citizens. June 26 coincides with Muharram, while June 28 falls on a Sunday, meaning only June 27 will be an ordinary working day affected by the suspension.

The public has been urged to complete all pending registration-related transactions prior to June 26. Authorities have requested citizens' cooperation throughout the maintenance period and advised them to schedule their business accordingly.

Service restoration is confirmed for June 29, when all digital platforms and registration operations will resume their normal functioning. Citizens will be able to access departmental services without delay following the completion of the upgrade process.
