Ranga Reddy Collector Stresses Transparency in Media Accreditation Process

Hyderabad: The newly constituted media accreditation committee of Ranga Reddy district held a significant meeting under the chairmanship of Collector C. Narayana Reddy at the Integrated District Offices Complex on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the Collector commended the committee members for their appointment and underscored the importance of maintaining procedural integrity. He instructed the administration to grant accreditation cards exclusively to those meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Narayana Reddy emphasized the necessity of complying with GO 252 while handling accreditation applications. He highlighted that strict observance of established protocols would guarantee openness and credibility throughout the accreditation system.

The Collector acknowledged the vital contribution of the media fraternity in disseminating information regarding government welfare schemes and infrastructure development initiatives. He urged the committee to maintain efficiency and impartiality in its functioning.

Members were directed to observe procedural norms meticulously and engage in regular consultations to address emerging challenges. The Collector stressed that consistent communication among committee members would facilitate prompt resolution of grievances and uphold accountability standards.

The gathering concluded with committee members presenting the Collector with a traditional shawl and floral tribute in recognition of his leadership.

District Public Relations Officer Baleshwari, along with committee members K. Sreekanth Reddy, Shekhar Uppari, Syed Ikramulla Hussaini, Annavarapu Shekhar Babu, Mohammed Siraj and others participated in the proceedings.
