BJP Chief Unveils Poster for PM Modi's Telangana Visit

Hyderabad: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled arrival in Telangana on May 10, BJP state president N. Ramchander Rao released promotional material for the forthcoming public engagement.

The event, branded as "Jana Agraha Sabha," will take place at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds. According to Rao, party legislators at the national and state levels have been coordinating logistical preparations for the visit.

During the programme, Modi is expected to dedicate infrastructure projects valued between ₹7,700 crore and ₹8,000 crore across Hyderabad. The Prime Minister will address attendees at 3 PM.

Rao characterized the visit as a landmark occasion, noting it represents Modi's inaugural trip to Telangana since beginning his third consecutive term as Prime Minister. The state BJP president also emphasized that this marks his first engagement in the state since assuming leadership of the party organization, describing it as momentous for the party's trajectory.

Speaking to party cadres, Rao asserted that the BJP is consolidating its position as a viable political force in Telangana. He highlighted growing momentum among diverse voter segments, including professionals, women, young adults, and first-time voters.

The BJP chief launched broadsides against rival political formations. He alleged that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi prioritizes dynastic concerns over substantive governance issues. Rao also criticized the Congress party for opposing the Women's Reservation Bill, which he argued would have enhanced parliamentary representation for women and marginalized communities.

Rao pointed to the party's expanding electoral footprint across India's southern regions as evidence of its strengthening national position. He reiterated the BJP's commitment to broadening its organizational presence and voter base in Telangana.
