BJP's Rakesh Reddy Challenges CM Revanth Reddy Over Attacks on Union Minister Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad: In a forceful response to recent political tensions, BJP MLA Rakesh Reddy has leveled criticism at Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, taking issue with his comments directed at Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy.

Speaking at the BJP state office in Nampally, Rakesh Reddy contended that the Chief Minister was weaponizing Kishan Reddy as a political target in advance of the GHMC elections. He charged that the Congress administration, struggling with its own governance record, was attempting to shift public focus away from its failures by attacking the Union Minister.

The BJP legislator highlighted that Congress party members themselves had raised concerns about irregularities in how party positions were distributed, noting that notices had been issued to a Congress leader over these allegations. He called on Revanth Reddy to demonstrate restraint and dignity in his public communications, asserting that the Chief Minister lacked the standing to question the integrity of Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay, or Ramchander Rao.

Rakesh Reddy emphasized that the Centre stands ready to support Telangana's development through projects with genuine public benefit. He claimed, however, that the state government prioritizes personal gain over the welfare of ordinary citizens.

The MLA urged the Chief Minister to redirect his attention toward addressing citizens' actual concerns rather than engaging in partisan confrontation. He argued that mismanagement by both the Congress and BRS governments had weakened Telangana's financial health.

Looking ahead, Rakesh Reddy expressed optimism about the BJP's electoral prospects in the state, predicting that a BJP administration would restore fiscal stability and accelerate growth. He concluded by asserting that the party aims to establish Telangana among India's most developed states.
