Rajiv Swagruha's Plot Auction Generates Rs 83 Crore in Strong Bidding

Hyderabad — A public auction of open plots organized by Rajiv Swagruha Corporation on Monday drew substantial interest from property buyers, resulting in total revenues of Rs 83 crore from the sale of 85 plots spread across three locations in the region.
The auction, held at a private venue in Pedda Amberpet, saw buyers across all three project sites willing to pay premiums over the asking prices set by the corporation. Properties in Thorur, Kurmalguda, and Bahadurpally were offered for sale, with approximately 150 bidders participating throughout the day-long event.
V.P. Gautham, Managing Director of Rajiv Swagruha Corporation, attributed the robust demand to the appeal of the properties themselves. The plots offered clear ownership titles and well-developed infrastructure, he noted, while their proximity to major developments like Future City and the Outer Ring Road enhanced their attractiveness to investors.
Thorur emerged as the most sought-after location. The corporation had set a reserve price of Rs 25,000 per square yard for 66 plots ranging from 200 to 700 square yards in size. Bidders pushed the maximum price to Rs 45,500 per square yard, with properties ultimately selling at an average rate of Rs 32,500 per square yard. The locality's advantage lies in its position near the ORR and the Adibatla IT corridor.
In Kurmalguda, where plots measured between 200 and 400 square yards, the corporation's base price stood at Rs 20,000 per square yard. Competitive bidding drove the highest offer to Rs 27,500 per square yard.
Bahadurpally plots, also positioned near the Outer Ring Road, drew considerable buyer interest. The corporation had fixed the base price at Rs 27,000 per square yard, though bidders were willing to pay up to Rs 40,500 per square yard. Properties in this location sold at an average price of Rs 33,800 per square yard.
Officials emphasized the transparent nature of the auction process, which ran from morning through evening and allowed equal participation from bidders across different areas.
