Three-Day Rainfall Warning Issued for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

A weather system spanning from Karnataka through Telangana and into Rayalaseema has prompted the India Meteorological Department to issue a rainfall alert for both states over the next three days.
The trough formation is expected to bring widespread precipitation accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds across several districts in the region. Meteorological officials have specifically flagged Jogulamba Gadwal, erstwhile Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Medak, Khammam and Nizamabad districts as areas likely to experience thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds.
In Andhra Pradesh, forecasters anticipate significant weather activity in the coastal and Rayalaseema regions. North Coastal Andhra, South Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema are all expected to see thundershowers at multiple locations. The department has also predicted light to moderate rainfall across parts of Rayalaseema during this period.
The meteorological authorities have urged residents to exercise caution during thunderstorm and lightning events. Farmers have been advised to implement protective measures to safeguard their crops from potential damage caused by heavy rainfall and strong winds.
