Railway Boards Open Recruitment for Over 6,500 Technician Positions Nationwide

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), operating under the Ministry of Railways, have announced a major recruitment initiative seeking candidates for 6,557 technician positions throughout India. The positions are distributed between 323 openings for Technician Grade-1 Signal and 6,234 posts for Technician Grade-3.

The application window for these positions extends through July 29, 2026, with all submissions required to be made exclusively through online channels.

Prospective candidates must ensure they meet all stipulated eligibility requirements as outlined in Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 02/2026. The RRBs have emphasised the importance of thoroughly reviewing the complete notification prior to application submission.

The recruitment portal managed by the Railway Recruitment Boards will facilitate all applications. Detailed notifications regarding the recruitment process have been made accessible via the official websites of various RRBs, including those based in Secunderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
