Rahul Gandhi to Open New Nizamabad Congress Office

Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Mahesh Kumar Goud has announced that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will formally open the new Congress office facility being constructed in Nizamabad district.
On Wednesday morning, Goud and district in-charge minister Dansari Anasuya participated in the ceremonial ground-breaking for the office building in Nizamabad.
At the event, the TPCC chief praised Gandhi's political commitment, noting that the Congress leader had even declined the opportunity to serve as Prime Minister. Goud stated that citizens across India were increasingly turning their attention toward Gandhi's leadership.
The party chief expressed optimism about Congress's electoral prospects, declaring that the party would secure 100 seats in the next general elections and would ultimately return to national power. He assured attendees that a Congress government would honour all public commitments.
Goud levelled criticism at the BJP, accusing the party of deliberately fostering social divisions based on caste and religious identity. He also directed sharp criticism at the previous government in Telangana, claiming that the BRS administration under K. Chandrashekar Rao had set the state's development back by five decades.
According to Goud, no other political force in Telangana presents a meaningful challenge to Congress. He outlined plans to establish Congress offices throughout the state following a standardised architectural design.
The TPCC chief also underscored the government's commitment to prioritising development initiatives without compromise.
Minister Seethakka highlighted the achievements of the current Congress government, stating that significant development progress had been made within the first two-and-a-half years of its tenure. She specifically cited the construction of four lakh residential units within a single year as a major accomplishment.
Government advisers Sudarshan Reddy and Mohammed Ali Shabbir, along with MLA Bhoopathi Reddy, participated in the ceremony.
