RSB Foundation's Project Tantavyaa Showcases India's Living Textile Heritage

The RSB Foundation is launching Project Tantavyaa: Shwet Shyam, an ambitious week-long cultural programme dedicated to India's textile heritage and living craft traditions. The initiative assembles more than 100 museum-quality handcrafted textiles and artworks sourced from Odisha, Bengal, and Assam, weaving together narratives around devotion, empowerment, and dignity.
The exhibition functions as a craft revival undertaking that merges traditional practices with contemporary artistic expression. By highlighting artisan communities and sustainable design approaches, Shwet Shyam aims to bridge heritage with modern sensibilities.
Ms. Priyanka Behera leads the initiative, with creative direction provided by Pankaj S. Chadha.
The showcase will open its doors on 27 April 2026, with Union Ministers Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Shri Dharmendra Pradhan among the distinguished guests attending the inaugural event. The exhibition will remain accessible to the public through 2 May 2026.
